COMMUNITY LIAISON

The Community Liaison is responsible for community outreach for the Coalition, interacting with the public, healthcare providers/system, community partners, and marketing professionals. The candidate serves as the liaison for promoting completion of the Florida Prenatal and Infant Screens, facilitates community events, and supports the Coalition’s community relations and social media positioning.

COMMUNITY REFERRALS COORDINATOR

The Community Referrals Coordinator is responsible for receiving and tracking all referrals, coordinating services, and maintaining communication with referral sources. The Coordinated Intake and Referral unit connects pregnant women, Interconceptional women, and families of children under the age of three to services to offset risk factors that may lead to poor pregnancy and/or developmental outcomes. The CI&R unit processes Healthy Start prenatal and postnatal screens and referrals from various agencies in Broward County.

INTAKE COORDINATOR

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for conducting initial intake interviews with pregnant women and parents of infants referred to Healthy Start or the Coordinated Intake & Referral (CI&R) Unit. This position determines program eligibility, assesses the need for additional services, and connects families with appropriate home visitation and community support programs to promote healthy pregnancies, positive birth outcomes, and child well-being.

INTAKE ASSISTANT

As an Intake Assistant, you’ll help guide families to essential support services during pregnancy and early childhood. You’ll process high‑volume referrals and provide key administrative support within our CI&R team. Your work directly strengthens healthier outcomes for families across our community.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & TRAINING SPECIALIST

The Quality Assurance Specialist for the Telephonic Coordinated Intake & Referral (CI&R) Unit is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of documentation, processes, and procedures throughout the Connect referral system. This position supports compliance with program standards and promotes high-quality service delivery by ensuring pregnant women, interconceptional women, and families with children under age three are effectively connected to services that reduce risk factors and improve pregnancy and early childhood outcomes.
