This position will serve as the Community Referrals Assistant for the telephonic Coordinated Intake and Referral (CI&R) unit and will be responsible for assisting with the receiving and tracking of all referrals and assuring service coordination and communication with referral sources. HRSA Grant Project Manager

Broward Healthy Start Coalition was awarded with a 5-year federally funded grant from HRSA to decrease the racial disparity in infant mortality. Infant mortality rates disproportionately affect Black communities and Black families. This position is responsible for program development, implementation, oversight, forward movement,

Community Liaison

This position is responsible for provider and community outreach for the Broward Healthy Start Coalition. The candidate serves as the liaison for promoting the completion of the Healthy Start Prenatal Screen and Infant Screen through building and maintaining relationships with prenatal care providers and staff at birthing hospitals. Peer Navigator

Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, in partnership with Broward Healthy Start Coalition, was awarded the Regional Partnership Grant (RPG) Round 7 award- Healthy Connections for Moms and Babies. The Peer Navigator position is designed for an individual with an active recovery process from a substance use or alcohol use disorder, seeking to support pregnant women on their recovery journey. Intake Assistant

The Intake Assistant processes a high volume of prenatal and infant risk screens and referrals coming into the Coordinated Intake and Referral (CI&R) unit. Download the Job Description below for more details:
