Helping Moms. Supporting Healing. Caring for Pregnancy.
The Healthy Connections program helps pregnant moms who are going through hard times. Some moms are trying to make healthy changes. Some moms feel sad or worried. Every mom has a story. We are here to help. We listen and we care. We want moms to feel safe and strong before their baby comes.
What We Do
Making Births Safer and Kinder
Sometimes, when a pregnant woman develops habits, people treat her badly. We want to change that. Healthy Connections brings doctors, counselors, and community helpers together to care for moms with respect and love.
We help moms early in their pregnancy, build trust, and make sure they get the care they need for a healthy baby and a healthy life.
Teaching Helpers to Care Better
We also teach people who work with moms—like doctors and counselors—how to better understand pregnancy and substance use. We help them learn to be kind, listen well, and work with moms to help them heal.
Peer Navigators: Helpers Who Understand
Our Peer Navigators are people who have been through hard times and now help others. They give full support and use proven ways to help moms feel strong and confident.
Peer Navigators help moms:
They use special tools like Motivational Interviewing and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) to help moms grow and heal.
