Bringing Babies Home Healthy

The Bringing Babies Home Healthy committee engages stakeholders at all levels, including service recipients and community members, to develop, implement, and refine the care system for substance-using mothers and their babies. The committee also emphasizes infant mental health by supporting a care system with trained professionals, peer support, and appropriate interventions. Broward County utilizes evidence-based practices, such as Early Childhood Court and Child Parent Psychotherapy, to promote parent-child reunification and support the infant’s health.
